It was left up to you to make sure that the agency you seek out is credible, and that you aren't getting taken advantage of. However, in 2009, most provinces cracked down on Payday Loan Lending, and now the entire process is much safer and cost effective. When in doubt, use a resource such as the Better Busines Bureau.
